Overview

Remotly lets you control compatible televisions from your iPhone over your local network. This policy describes what the app stores, what it sends and to whom.

Data on your device

Remotly stores saved TV names, local network addresses, app shortcuts and language preferences on your device. Pairing keys and Android TV pairing identities are stored using the iOS Keychain. These records allow you to reconnect to TVs you have paired.

Local network communication

Remotly uses local network access to discover compatible TVs and communicate with a TV you select. Pairing information, remote commands and text you explicitly send are transmitted to that TV. TV applications and manufacturers may process information under their own privacy policies.

Developer collection and tracking

Remotly has no advertising or cross-app tracking and requires no developer account. TV names, local addresses, pairing secrets and text sent to your TV are not shared with RevenueCat or the developer. Bundled translations work offline.

Subscriptions and privacy

When subscriptions are enabled, Apple handles payments and RevenueCat processes an app-specific anonymous customer identifier, purchase and subscription history, device and app technical information, and paywall interactions to verify access, restore purchases and provide subscription reporting. These services require internet access and may receive your public IP address. We do not receive payment-card details. RevenueCat acts as our service provider; removing the app does not delete its purchase records. For data access, correction or deletion requests, contact [email protected]. Your choices

You can remove a saved TV through its menu in the TV list. This removes its app record and associated pairing credentials. You can revoke Local Network access in iOS Settings; doing so prevents discovery and remote control. Keychain items can be managed by removing the relevant TV in Remotly before uninstalling the app.

Support

If you email [email protected], your email address and the information you provide are used to respond to your request. Do not send TV pairing codes or sensitive text in support messages.

This website

This website is served over HTTPS and does not set tracking cookies or load advertising. Standard server logs may record technical request data such as IP address, requested page and browser type for security and operation of the site.

Changes

This policy will be updated when the app's data practices change. The date at the top reflects the latest revision.
